This flickr stream is my photographic notebook. Here, I post pictures that document the places, people, and events in my life. I also post photos and imaging exercises that represent my efforts to improve my photography.
I enjoy learning about photography, and I'm working with a DSLR camera and trying high dynamic range (HDR) and infrared (IR) techniques. I'm also learning a great deal from my flickr friends and contacts as well as from going on photowalks.
In developing my own style, I enjoy taking documentary-style shots as well as experimenting with HDR and IR photography. For subject matter, I like to take photos of the surprising details and everyday beauty of the scenes and moments around me. I particularly enjoy architecture and city views.
