John Dear Mowing Club, with guitarist, lyricist/poet and painter Melle de Boer as the main founder of the project.
Melle de Boer (Delft, 1972) grew up listening to American singer-songwriters. In 1995, he graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy of Arts in Rotterdam. Next to working as a painter, Melle decides to found his band in the late summer of 2002.
The Band:
Melle de Boer - guitar, lyrics, vocals.
Rob Lagendijk - contrabass.
Sean de Vries - drums.
