I am a native Southern Californian at heart: I grew up in South Orange County, graduated from UC San Diego in 2005, and then worked at SAIC for a year in La Jolla. Now I'm doing my MD/PhD training at UCLA until 2014 or so, where my professional interests lie at the elusive intersection between science, engineering, and medicine.
