I would have to say that like a lot of other people, the age of the digital camera has really allowed me to explore something I've always been interested in. I'm a part time weekend hobbyist and love the challenge of trying to find something in a scene or a subject that doesn't really present itself to you at first, but the more you look at it you realize it's uniqueness.

Travel is always a good excuse to haul out the camera and over the past few years I've been lucky enough to have done a bit, in some cool places. A couple of years ago I finally bought my first DSLR. It's the Olympus E-volt 500 and while by today's standards it might be a little out of date, I just loved it. Recently I upgraded to the Canon EOS T2i. I have a lot to learn about this camera and with a bit of time hope to upload some more cool photos.

I hope you enjoy my pictures. I will try to upload more and more each week as I get use to Flickr. I encourage you to comment on them as well!!
