If the conquest of a great peak brings moments of exaltation and bliss, which in the monotonous, materialistic existence of modern times nothing else can approach, it also presents great dangers. It is not the goal of grand alpinism to face peril, but it is one of the tests one must undergo to deserve the joy of rising for an instant above the state of crawling grubs. On this proud and beautiful mountain we have lived hours of fraternal, warm and exalting nobility.
Here for a few days we have ceased to be slaves and have really been men. It is hard to return to servitude.
-Lionel Terray, French Mountaineer
I Love Nature and always ready to explore new areas, Lakes and valleys, and friends world over.
Nature is my first love since I have been also from a village which is in the lap of a mountain (Tilla Jogian) not so high but good enough to have one day track. But I love high mountains, vallies, lakes and meadows in the nothern areas of Pakistan, and ready to be friend of all those who have flare for the mountains, I always try to get scenic pictures but love to get portrait of children also.

"I really enjoyed going through your photos. Though they were mostly landscapes and portraits I didn't get bored with the same subjects as I sometimes do. I think that a lot of your travel photos are professional quality and you should look into selling them to travel magazines or travel agents. They are so clear and beautiful that they made me wish I was standing there in that moment. which is the main objective for travel photos. Another thing I thought was refreshing about your photos were that they didn't need a lot of editing (they weren't lackluster) and none were over edited. It made me curious, do you edit them at all? I have two pieces of advice for you. Firstly I don't know how much you look into photography technique but effective and interesting composition is very important for a photographer to know about. There are "rules" you can read about, such as the rule of thirds and they sometimes improve a picture, but sometimes using the rules will make photos really bland. I suggest looking up some composition tips. Personally you should watch out about things in your foreground that steal the photos attention. My second piece of advice is though you excel at taking landscapes don't be afraid to experiment with macros and get close up using creative focus. You are a wonderful photographer and I am eagerly anticipating new photos from you."

"There are few people for which I am out of words to describe how I feel about them. Jogi is one of them. My affection or whatever one may call it for jogi is because of his love for mountain and trekking. One of the most motivated person to handle jobs like gathering, managing and letting people enjoy their time with nature. He is simple yet deeper thoughts wrapped around those wonderful places he has visited so far...
Jogi from Tilla Jogian seems to be a bit 'out of place' world for his stream for many people, but this particularly shows how much devotion he has for his homeland. I am honored to have him in my contacts... He sure is an open person and someday we may have a silent chit chat somewhere lost in those mountains....
I wish him luck and health...
Thanks,
Ishtiaq Ahmed"24th September, 2009

"I think it was 2nd week of May 2008 when I was thinking where I should go this year. And then I receive a call “Oay asad my ny Dudipat dekhni hy or seral lake bhee” it was naeem, so we decided to go there but non of us knows about routes and other essential we require to go there. And then …. A Smiley, kiddy, kind man appears, hold my hand and reach us at dudipat lake..
That smiley, kind person was tanveer jogi.
Actually I was really not be expectant that a person which I never meet before, I find his contact details on internet and I spoke him first time and ask him to come my place and tell me about the track and other things I need and he says OK I’ll come at this time … I was really wonder I was not be suppose that he will come. But he came. He came for me to tell all about the things which we want to know and not only came also he give us a push toward destination :)
It will not faithful if I skip the Fareed Bhai in this all. He is also a very nice and good person. I am really very thankful both of you for your kindness, gaudiness and most impotent the courage u give us and your caring attitude."16th January, 2009

"I met Tanvir over 5 years ago. We both shared common interests like fitness and out doors. Through the years we have stayed in touch to share travel information. My first meeting with Tanvir was 5 years ago when he was heading to Kaghan and i decided to go with him and till today we are in touch and traveled together.
His conversations are never lacking in humor and he has clear views on every issue he is talking about. He is so passionate towards travel and out doors. Having developed his interest into travel photography he has improved in a short period of time. With his skills to recompose the shots and settle treatment of colors he has portrayed the natural beauty of Pakistan in stunning manner. Every shot in his stream is candy to eyes.""12th March, 2008

"Jogi's Photo-stream is an elegant, yet "real" tribute to the "Love of Family, Life, Nature and Travel". He brings to us, through his honest photography, a way to see people and places that most of us will never be able to venture in to explore. We get to see how people in far away places live and enjoy each other. I find his landscapes to be very interesting...but mostly peaceful and lovely.
Jogi - thank you for sharing your Family and your Land with the rest of us. Keep up the good work - stay well."8th March, 2008
