    one under the sun says:

"When I look at Joe's pictures I often think: Professionalism. I like how his every picture is so well thought of, so meticulously edited, so perfect. His compositions are always impeccable, his colors are incredibly crisp...paired with his sensitive insight and his words, his images are not only something to look at but also something to ponder, think about and apply to life. There is always something new and refreshing to see and read here.

Joe has a very kind and gentle soul. He encourages, helps and suggests. But what I value the most in him is his class and again, his professional approach to photography. Oh, and he is a real master in minimalism. You must see for yourself!"

"Joe is able to capture some of the most breathtaking photos I have seen on Flickr. He adds a little touch of wisdom to each picture with an inspiring quote, giving the viewer further insight into what Joe was thinking as he composed each shot. He is one of few who are able to take some of the most classic kinds of shots and make each one look stunning, fresh, and new."

"I look forward to seeing "Joesflickr" photos everytime I come on Flickr. I have learned a lot of advice from my father, and I look up to him, as everyone else does.
Every weekend I look forward to going on my daily trips to a new place to take creative photographs, not because they would look good on flickr, but because I love spending time with my dad, and also because I love finding out more advice about photography.
My father is my inspiration, and hopefully one day I'll be as good as him!
Remember, its not the camera, its the PHOTOGRAPHER !"

    *Kelso* says:

"Looking back through Joe's photostream and surveying its progression, I am struck by his innate ability to capture the extraordinary in the "every day." Aside from being technically beautiful, well-composed and processed with care, his images are both thought-provoking and yet reminiscent of those age-old lessons and philosophies we all learned as children: to find beauty in all living things. To celebrate the deeply flawed humanity in all people. To treat with delicate care the feelings and egos of others. Joe always leaves the observer with more than just a beautiful image in their mind's eye - his photography reminds us of the beauty that exists all around, if we only take the time to look. One need not travel far and wide to find spectacular images to photograph. A wooden bench. A simple flower. A woman standing in the sunshine on a windy day. A man asleep on his lunch break. Joe captures each subject and treats it with dignity by choosing just the right words to convey his message. And as I look back, I can see hints and lessons I missed the first time around when I first viewed his work. Like a great novel, Joe's photos are ones I return to again and again because they never fail to delight and inspire - and to eagerly anticipate what new beauty he will reveal through his work."

"With stunning photos and encouraging words, Joe really has it all.
He captures moments and little things that a lot of times we all just pass by and forget about later.
He turns it into something special.
Into something that we can't forget.

He's one of nicests guys you'll ever meet.
    :)"
