I am from the Philippines and my name is Joel. I’m an officer for a manufacturing firm and a systems consultant for some other companies. Aside from reading my emails, I’m now spending a lot time with Flickr. My wife, Natalie, and I have four daughters ages 28, 25, 21 and Sam, our youngest who’ll be turning 10(eleven years gap).

Living in the city make us want to travel every weekend to the different provinces to enjoy the natural scenery and its people. Sometimes, if our schedules permit, we try to tour other countries.

My family loved photography as well as keeping old pictures. Since I started taking pictures, I’ve used boxed, instamatics, Polaroids, 35mm point and shoot, analog SLR’s and now digital cameras.

When I first used Flickr, it was meant as a repository for old and new pictures so that I could share them with my friends and relatives abroad. Now, I am enjoying seeing photos which others share, making new friends, and the sharing of ideas and comments.
