i would describe myself as a hardchore photo and music freak.

-started photography with a toycam at the age of 7.
-first b/w lab at the age of 12
-photoshop since 2.5. (no layers back then)
-first e-mail @ compuserve
-started assistance photography at the age of 17
-educated communication designer
-worked some years as photoshop clerk
-first digital shot in `95 (phase one back - hmi lighting only)

besides i`m shooting 80% of my jobs digitally, i`m deeply into film and oldshool photography technics like frontpro and lightbrush. and; -yes it`s true. I´m a natural born collecting equipment-freak and i`m mad with dogs & animals.

with the funeral of polaroid sx-70 & type 55 etc. a big piece of photographical culture died. -rest in peace!


i`m trying to bring the observer back to a world when photography was more than a videogame playing "higher, faster, more!".


lief daily working at my habitat called "the slim sumo studio" in the field of fashion, portrait, architecture, landscape and stills, for clients like allianz, arena, peak performance, siemens, chiemsee, goretex, peter keppler, georg&arend , schering pharma, timberland to name a few.
