If you are reading this, thanks for dropping in!
I live on California's beautiful Central Coast. I was born in San Luis Obispo, lived in Pismo Beach until I was six, and then moved to Arroyo Grande (Spanish for "Big Ditch") where I have lived ever since.
I have never been any good at anything: you name it, I've sucked at it! My emotions resemble the stock market in the respect that they go up and down depending on certain factors. But generally I am at least half cheerful and half nonchalant. I don't really have friends but I am lucky to have a couple great buddies (you know who you are, Aaron and Bryan!).
I am currently attending Cuesta Community College in San Luis Obispo, trying to ged my General Ed out of the way. I have been there for two years and only have half the credits I'm supposed to. I have always been a lousy student, due to equal parts apathy, a one track mind, and lack of ability in certain subjects. I am starting to think about maybe going to a trade school, but I don't know if there are any trade schools for geological sciences. I really want to be a paleontologist, but if I am ever to get anywhere, I apparently need a degree.
I'll discuss my interests here, given the nature of the little box below.
Natural History- I have had a great passion for the natural world all my life. My main interest is vertebrate paleontology, the study of fossils of animals with backbones.
Movies- I really enjoy watching them. I also make some. I consider the "mockumentary" Wildman of Suburbia my magnum opus.
Researching- I like looking stuff up and watching documentaries. I also have many bones, skulls, and fossils (and facsimiles thereof) that i enjoy "studying" and comparing with one another.
Tattoos- I have five so far. Hopefully I get get a job so i can get more.
Traveling- I like going places and exploring new territories. Places i have been to include: Yosemite, Yellowstone, Hawaii, Grand Canyon, Vancouver + Victoria (British Columbia), Alberta, Washington DC, and many, many other places.
Ancient warfare- I have a bit of an interest in ancient history, but for some reason i am particularly interested in the ways in which the ancients waged war.
And because I can't put any web links in the interest section, here is a link (with more links) to our youtube pages:
