Jo Sanderson-Mann (mostly away)'s photostream |
I have another flickr account where you can find some textures: www.flickr.com/photos/28102032@N05/
I take photos of what is around me, my images reflect my everyday life - most of them are of my garden and my home, with occasional forays into landscapes. I believe in the beauty of the everyday. The photos taken by other people, which inspire me the most, are those which enable me to dream and imagine.
My work is available to purchase. Please contact me if you wish to use one of my images.

"Jo is a unique individual and this is ably demonstrated by her Photostream, she has a unique ability to take the ordinary and make it special, via the use of a different angle, perspective or colour combination.
Her photographs are, I believe, a window to her pysche and constitute a very interesting and enjoyable collection of images.
She is extremely generous with her comments and always willing to be of assistance.
It's been a pleasure 'knowing' her through the medium of Flickr, and long may the friendship continue.
Thank you Jo for being you."13th July, 2009

"I haven't written a testimonial before (for anyone who didn't write one first), but Jo is special. She always leaves the nicest comments on my pictures, and has given some great insights into my work. I am constantly surprised and delighted by her photos. Her way of seeing the world is so unique,....her perspectives, colours, depth of field and beautiful use of light. There is subtlety , grace and serenity in her photos. Time spent in Jo's photostream is time well-spent indeed."

"My Flickr friend Jo who is an experimental photographer with an eye for the angles, the details. Jo who can see a great shot where most just walk on past. But most of all Jo who has been my friend and who looks out for me. Who I really do appreciate.
Jo, if there were more like you on Flickr it would be even better than it is now.
Thank you Jo for being my friend.

Its really good to 'know' you Jo!"8th March, 2008
