Retired - Unfortunately widowed but happy with my life. I am a member of The Royal British Legion in UK and this year I am their Poppy Appeal Organiser, which the funds go to ex military and their families who need help. My main hobby is making hand made greeting cards for friends and family and to raise funds for the Legion and of course flickr which has become rather addictive but love sharing my finds with everyone else.
My favourite music is swing, jazz and some modern.
Served 3 years in the WRAC back in 1961, for the last 2 years of my service I served in Whitehall (now Ministry of Defence) in Military Intelligence and loved it, so as you can see I am getting old!!! Ugh but I don't feel old.
I love cats, domestic and wild but my favourite wild animal is the Otter - they are so cute and of course endangered and thankfully we are getting them back in our rivers.
