I am an amateur photographer, If I see something that appeals to me aesthetically I take a photo of it, I have no technical skill or knowledge but am hoping to learn new skills in the future. I am currently enrolled on a 10 week digital photography course at Birmingham Botanical gardens. As a result I am trying to go completely "manual" with some very mixed results!
I find that taking photographs stimulates my "inner child artist" , makes me feel uplifted, energised and seriously enhances my sense of well being.

I enjoy taking shots of buildings, structures, canals, the countryside and the area where I live, The Black Country.

I live next to the canal and work in The Black Country, UK

I work for the NHS with older people and their carers who live with mental health problems. I am interested in the therapeutic application of photography and the use of iPad technology with older people who have memory problems and cognitive impairment. I would like to see more creativity employed when working with older people who live with dementia.

I am married to Terry and I have an 18 year old son, Adam, who is studying Quantity Surveying in Wolverhampton.
