FAQ
What type of photographs do I like?
Perhaps my collection of favourites will give a good idea.
This collection of favourites consists of photograph from my contacts. (But these are not necessarily the ones they might regard as their best work.)
Do I have any other galleries?
My main photography web site is here:

And my blog is here:

My gear?
The tags at each photograph would typically indicate the camera body (mostly Canon 5DMarkII and Canon 20D) and the lens used. If I left out this information by mistake, please let me know so that I can correct the oversight.
Any other questions?
Please send me a FlickrMail... :-)
Kind regards
Nico Conradie

Lynn Fagerlie says:
"jnconradie is one of the first people I “met” on flickr, and counting him among my friends is one of the main reasons flickr has been such a rewarding experience for me. I continue to be inspired by the quality of his work, and the obvious care and attention to detail he puts into creating each photo. He clearly has a passion, and a desire to grow and learn as a photographer, and it is very exciting for me to have a front-row seat for all his creative adventures.
With each new post, he seems to be continually stretching his artistic and technical wings – whether that is through creating a photo to match a theme, managing his use of lighting, or perfecting his skill as a editor. He is my inspiration! And he not only inspires me by allowing me to share in his work, but also by critiquing mine. There is no person on flickr who is more generous, more giving, more kind, or more sincere than jnconradie. His thoughtful comments always make my day, and I appreciate so much that he is not only willing to leave his compliment but also his critique. He has helped me to become a better photographer, and he sure has made my photographic journey a lot more fun and fulfilling."19th August, 2007

"An astonishing collection of photos: jnconradie is one of those rare flickr beasts, a constantly accessible, constantly rewarding photographer. Some of his best work is some of the best I've seen here, and the time I've spent exploring his photostream has been well invested."

Visual Impact says:
"jnconradie has been a continuous source of inspiration and insight for as long I've had the pleasure of having exchanges with him on flickr.
There is his amazing demonstrations of photographic approaches to still life. And his expressive depictions of real life. I've learned a lot from seeing his photos.
Of all my flickr contacts, his most recent posts have me thinking, "can the shots get any cooler?', and they do."18th January, 2007

"Nico is a superb photographer who is always willing to share his perceptive insights into the craft. I have been lucky to learn from his generous comments and from his work. A master of composition and colour management, Nico is also the perfect example of 'a gentleman and a scholar'."
