You do not have to respect the photographer, but do respect the license under which I am releasing these pictures. Some of these photographs have taken a lot of my effort and time, and needless to say, photo equipment is expensive. If you would like to use any of the photographs displayed here commercially, would like to buy prints or would like to contact me for any other purpose - I can be reached at v DOT niranj AT gmail DOT com. (Replace AT and DOT with appropriate symbols!). Photography is not my main source of income - My charges are reasonable, and we can arrive at a pricing that is mutually beneficial. And I always respond to eMails that have a description as to where you got the eMail ID from. Several people have contacted me and sought permission to use some of my photographs as inspiration and a reference for their art, which they eventually put up for sale. I've always appreciated and encouraged upcoming artists who have their basic principles right.

Feel free to add me as a contact - however, do not expect me to reciprocate. I am not very regular on Flickr these days. I tend to maintain a minimal set of contacts whose work interests me and inspires me. I also have a tendency to interact with my contacts and at times, discuss stuff beyond photography [I have other interests too - I read, enjoy music (listening and playing), travel, watch a lot of Sci-Fi]. It becomes difficult for me to do what I do if the number of contacts is more - I'm sure you can understand that. However, I do reciprocate if I find that your comments are helping me improve. I also check out the streams of all folks who comment on my images and offer my perspective on the pictures.

I'm also open to meeting people and discussing our common interests - I've met several interesting people through Flickr, and they have become some of my very good friends today. If you would like to meet me in Bangalore, do let me know and we can work out a time that works for both of us.

I weed out my contact list from time to time to trim it down - I like to interact with people and this method works well for me. If your name was removed, it is probably due to the fact that you were inactive on Flickr for more than 6 months, without an upload.
