12 months ago, on Xmas Day 2009, I suffered a heart attack and was admitted to hospital for a triple bypass operation.

Disappointingly I was one of the 5 percent who suffer a mini-stroke during the operation and I almost died.

A year on, and after four months in four different hospitals, I am slowly recovering and hope to, one day, again be able to take up photography in remote and fascinating places.
