Someday, I hope to successfully begin a movement called "I need trans-fats to live." It's based on the idea that possibly a doctor could tell you that trans-fats are necessary to your survival. The truth is, I subsist on a pescetarian diet heavy in carbohydrates but low in trans-fats. Hypocrisy may be important to the movement. I drink more aspartame than is healthy and hope to be found perfectly preserved years after my death.

I like to read, design websites, journal, microblog on twitter, take occasional photographs, pine after the days when writing poetry came more easily, knit, and spend time with Kyle--my newlywed spouse. I most enjoy studying history but I prefer to read primary sources over academic non-fiction and I love novels more than almost anything. I'm perhaps too concerned with the concept of a cyber identity.

I attend graduate school at Texas Tech University to obtain a master of arts degree in museum science. I'm especially interested in art collections and ethnology collections and would eventually like to curate those collections. I'm also somewhat interested in a j.d. to work in the field of art and museum law or a ph.d. to further my qualifications as a curator.
