My name is Brian Anthony and I am the owner of JLMODELPHOTOGRAPHY. I reside in Central Florida and am a freelance photographer. Thank you for visiting my site. My site is totally dedicated to my photography work at Universal Studios Orlando at the Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling tapings or TNA for short. I do not work for TNA. I shoot for Solowrestling Magazine www.solowrestling.com/

All the photos you see were not shot ringside but from within the stands and from the media area under the hard camera. All photos shot by me and may NOT be used unless I give permission.

Frequently Asked Questions

I get emails and or questions every day from people all over the world about my TNA photos which I am extremely humbled by. I also am asked questions while I am at the Impact Zone so I’d thought I compose a list of those questions and answers for everyone to see. I’ve also posted this information on my profile page:

1.Do you shoot for TNA?
No I do not shoot for TNA. I shoot for Solowrestling Magazine www.solowrestling.com/.

2.What camera equipment do you use?
I use Canon’s EOS 30D with Canons’ 70-200 2.8L (Non-IS) version along with Kingston’s 8GB 266X CF card.

3.Why use the (Non-IS) version of this lens?
Honestly I don’t need the IS version. Since I am able to use really fast shutter speeds with the 2.8 aperture it freezes my subject(s) just fine.

4.Why don’t you use flash at TNA?
At TNA you don’t need to use flash. If your shutter speed, aperture and ISO are on point then you don’t need flash at TNA.

5.How is it that you are able to get so close and get your shots?
70-200 is a really good focal length in terms of distance and zooming out. From December 07 to June 08, I shot strictly from the pit area which put me not to far from the ring and then effective July I began shooting from the media area which still, with this focal length, allows me to get in pretty close.

6.Have you ever taken a photography class?
Never. I’m completely self- taught.

7.What is your photographic background?
Mainly weddings, child/family photography, headshots/full body shots and event and corporate photography.

10.How did this whole TNA thing come about?
Back in November 07 I was sitting on my friend’s couch (Jersey Flavor) and he asked me if I wanted to see some “TNA”. I thought he was talking about strippers at a strip club and he was like “no man, Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling”. Up until this point I had never heard of TNA in my life. I had no idea about it. I obliged while asking can I bring my camera and he was like “yeah”. So I went to the Christmas episode and this is what I captured: www.flickr.com/photos/jlmodeltnaphotos/sets/7215760467068...
After that I went back a second time and just became hooked on photographic it and things blew up for me from there which eventually led to Solowrestling approaching me and everything else happening.
