hi all.. thanks for visiting my profile. I've been interested in photography since I was young, but never really got into it until recently.

several years ago, I did some b&w film stuff, and attempted darkroom and film processing. that was an interesting experience but the result wasn't great. i didn't have good equipment and, frankly, wasn't that into it.

early last year, i bought my first DSLR (Nikon D90 + 18-200mm VR) for my shanghai business trip. also, i signed up on flickr and began looking at other people's stuff. ever since than, my interest has grown and my photos have been improving.

I'll continue to learn from everyone here. feel free to critique my work. lately, i am more interested in doing landscape and seascape stuff. Jim Patterson and Patrick Smith's work reallly inspired me. thanks guys!
