You are rummaging around in the attic of my blog 'The Thing of the Moment' although lately it's being increasingly used to augment the blogs or as a stand alone photo project.

Photos here are best viewed as collections or sets. If one submits photos in sets or projects, the photostream can be a boring nightmare.

I apologize in advance for it's MASSIVE size. It's not intended to be viewed in it's entirety by ANYONE, including myself. It is a collection of projects, rather than a project in its own right. Projects also tend to be large because they involve people and to a person you've photographed, you've really only taken one photo.

If you are one of my contacts or your image has been added to my favorites, it's because I am terribly jealous of your photos and skill and am only trying to keep track of you as I try to learn your techniques and steal your soul. Please do not resist. Do not be alarmed.

"You just have to like this guy, even if you don't really want to. Oh, and whats even more annoying about him is that he's truly inspiring and has an enormous (creative) output..."

"It all began with a google search for Trenton Bridge. Who knew that I would have come across "The Thing of The Moment", and then actually "have a moment" myself.

I knew from that moment that we would meet, on an island, and have lunch. We would look at tourists and pretend that we cared what they said. That we would "flirt" with the waitress and he would pretend that he knew her mother. I.just.knew.

After I enrolled in the TOTM photo class and drove from Easton PA to Bangor ME every Sunday for 4.5 years - It dawned on me. I am the only one in this class. And when I say "ONLY ONE" I really mean that. Jeff wasn't even there.

When I would get back to Easton - I would email him and he would say he was there and he saw me. I believed it until I checked his blog and saw he was taking pictures of REALLY HOT chicks rock climbing at the same time he was at class with me.

    It was all a lie.

    All of it.

And I fell for it. But I'll tell you one thing and one thing only. I love him. I always will."

"I can't believe jkirlin doesn't have a testimonial yet!! I'm glad to write the first one. My favorite sets of his are the People at Work series. He seems to be able to float undetected into a scene of people and capture wonderful, color-saturated moments in time that truly do tell a story of a thousand (or more) words. He is a very talented photographer and his photos are so vibrant and enjoyable to look at!"
