"As humans we naturally drift though life in a semi-psychogeographical way. It is in our intrinsic nature to observe and recreate (and often exaggerate) our surroundings within our imaginations, once these mental forms begin to gain physical shape, we have the basis of a piece of art. This is what I see when I look at Jimno's landscapes. It is like they are the physical manifestations of his mentally constructed manipulations of reality. Since I very first saw his work I have felt that we view the world similarly. To me, every one of Jimno's landscapes seems to suggest that he attempts to mentally construct a perfect reality via the Situationist principal of Unitary Urbanism, a point he expresses through his drawings."
