Jim (and/or James) Clemenson captures simple accounts from daily life and translates them into compelling, rich stories. His ability to engage his environment coupled with a wicked sense of timing help secure that precious moment that we, as viewers, thought was impossible to hold timeless.

Over a decade of graphic design experience combined with a keen attention to detail and patience in production result in rich, beautifully crafted images. His passion for both the artistic and technical aspects of the photographic process remain evident in each piece.

Exploration has been important throughout Jim’s life. Beginning in his formative years, he lived overseas and traveled around the world with his family. Since his return to the States, he has chosen the Midwest as his home, yet continues to travel actively.

Jim earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Illustration at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. He currently resides in Saint Louis, Missouri with his best friend and Great Dane, Dakota, and continues to pursue his passion for photography and image making.
