I am proud to serve as your representative in the State Assembly where I have continued to fight to make Long Island a more affordable place to live while enacting real changes to provide for the growing needs of our community. Over the past year, I have been successful in passing stronger laws against pedophiles to keep Long Island’s children and families safer, increasing STAR rebates for middle class families to help offset rising property taxes, and reforming the state’s archaic Workers’ Compensation system to provide needed relief to Long Island’s businesses. However, now is not the time to rest on our past successes and I look forward to bringing real and lasting change to Albany in order to help alleviate the financial squeeze that so many in our community are facing.
