I started taking pictures and working in a darkroom when I was very young, 5 or 6 helping my brother. (My dad was a aerial recon photographer in WW Deuce and shot weddings for a few years before giving up photography all together.) I had my own darkroom when I was in 7th grade and shot black and white for about three years and then stopped until I bought a digital camera in 1994 for my website design business. From that point on, I was totally hooked.

I have owned a Kodak DC 200 and then bought a Pentax Optio. My first "real" camera was a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-F505 after that got stolen around 2004 I bought a Nikon D70 that I used until February of 2009. I now shoot with a D90. I still feel like a snapshot picture taker, but every now and then I get a nice shot.
