Nothing special about my photos, if I see something and I want it on my Flickr page, I snap it.

All of my photos up until January 09 were taken with a mobile phone (unless borrowed from a friend or funnies taken from a website or e-mail), I now have a Nikon Coolpix S600, going to test that for a while and see if I feel like buying a more expensive job later. I used to take loads of photos when I was a youngster, I had a Praktica BCX electronic in the mid 80's. For some reason I stopped taking photos for about 20 years until the mobile phone came along, the camera on the Sony Eriksson W810i was fantastic and I was soon to start taking photos of anything and everything, no matter how mundane.

As for me, i'm Scottish, living and working in Sweden, and reasonably happy at that.

Most of my photos are taken so that friends and family can stop by and get an idea of what's happening in life, whether it's work, places I visit, sports I watch, concerts I go to, or stupid things I find in my freetime etc. It's now working in reverse, with Swede's I meet asking where I come from and what it's like, it was the main reason I started up the "Selkirk, Selkirkshire" Group.
