I like being outdoors, hiking and cycling, but also visiting cities and admiring the arts&architecture.
One of my grandfathers was a professional photographer since the early days of (colored-in) black&white, and I like to follow in his footsteps just a little bit.

My first digital camera has been a Kodak DC4800 for 6.5 years, but in February 2007 its display stopped working properly and a week later it sort of died. It started small cries for help right on a good hiking day, and it wouldn't do a thing. I managed to get two last pictures out of it, but after 3500+ photos it's all over now :-(

So I got a new one five days later. I can't go long without a camera, you know. After some research and considering my budget I found a good bargain at the local electronics store.
I'm now the proud owner of a Canon A610. I've finally got the swivel screen I liked so much about the Canon G1 way back when I decided on the more affordable Kodak :-)
