Hi Folks.
Thanks for visiting. What a wonderful place flickr is.
Though I have had my account for a few years and added a few pictures here and there, I only just in January of 2011 really started to use it and look around.
I love browsing the many photographs from people all over the world. I also am grateful and thankful for those of you have made me a contact and follow my work. I Thank you for the comments and saved favorites. I love to comment on others work as well, but because there is only so much time in a day, I will comment on the images of those who have left me comments as well. It is only fair :) Of course, there are many other amazing images I will comment on as well in various groups, time permitting. As for ''large'' graphic logos, I prefer words instead as I will delete those logos that are nearly the size of my images. Thanks for your understanding.. :)

If I comment on your photo, it is because I genuinely like it, a quality about it or to offer some C.C.

I will be putting up shooting techniques that I use regularly in addition to photos around L.A.

I am an easy going fellow who loves shooting pictures of everyday life. I speak both English and Spanish fluently. I shoot mostly in my home town of L.A., but will travel to different places for the sole reason of street shooting. My hope is that I can provide those who view my pictures a sense of being there with me in the scene. The majority of my pictures are up close and personal. Photos farther than 20 feet (6 meters) I consider on the far side for me. 8~)

I shoot mostly with DSLR's these days with prime lenses from 17-35mm max..The exception being my 12-24mm UWA lens....I shoot both Pentax and Nikon, but in truth, I will shoot with anything, even old school disposable cameras.

Post processing. First, let me start by saying I am a Jpeg shooter. I never shoot RAW. I use Photoshop CS5 and Light room 3. I have some personal presets that I have spent hours initionaly working on and so now PP takes me an avg of 3 minutes per picture. So for the most part, I try and get the processing done in Camera. I would rather be out making pictures than spending hours on a computer doing PP work.

My wife took this portrait of me with my Spotmatic, Super Tak 55F/1.8 and Tri-x 400 a few months back.
