My name is Jill, and I'm a 23-year old semi-professional photographer. A recent college graduate, I bide my time until I can put my teaching degree to use by substitute teaching and working as an on-location photographer, doing weddings, engagements, seniors, families, as well as scenery and art shots for my own enjoyment.

While my degree is in teaching, photography is my real passion. I began taking photos in high school, but my talent really blossomed in college when I photoed for the school newspaper. I spent a year working at a local photo studio, where my skills in editing and posing were heightened.

Training: I am entirely self-taught, receiving no formal training or classes in photography. I credit my ability to time spent observing at the studio, reading manuals, guides, and books, and above all else, shooting! (I recommend anything by Scott Kelby if you're looking to teach yourself anything about photoshop)

Equiptment: I use a Nikon D90 with an 18-55mm lens, 50mm f/1.8 lens, and a 55-200mm zoom.
