My name is Warren and I am married to Denise. We have four children and live on a 22 acre property in the Dandenongs near Melbourne (Australia), which we share with horses, chickens, a dog and a cat.

I have been interested in photography since I was a teenager. Digital photograhy, however, was a revolution for me. After owning a point and shoot for some time, I recently bought my first digital SLR. I now own a Nikon D80, an 18-135mm lens, and most recently, a 50 mm f1.8 (which I am enjoying immensly). I process my shots with Picassa and also now with GIMP (which is fantastic).

Flickr has been the second revolution for me. Before Flickr, photography was pretty much a solitary activity - excepting all those long sufferring friends and family who could be pressed into flipping through my photo albums - now photography can be shared so easily with people of similar mind and interests right across the world. It's simply amazing.

I photograph our children (other kids), animals, our garden and friends. I use Flickr to share photos with friends and family, but am continually (distractred) and inspired by the artists on Flickr. I am intersted in photos that are great art, and also photos of people who are living similar lifestyles on small farms.

Its great to be part of the Flickr community.
