I'm a Chicago-born west-coast girl who fell in love with Southern California and will likely never leave. I started taking pictures with regularity when I started spending more time outdoors. I wanted to have reference materials for my paintings. Now I mostly take pictures because I like the instant-gratification factor. I'm an amateur photographer with no plans of going pro, except when I'm photographing gardens I've designed in my upcoming career as a Landscape Architect.
