Because I am a horse enthusiast, I create mostly Equine Metal Art and Cartoons of horse related themes. Overall, I like to find the humor in things -- you need a sense of humor because life is funny.

My metal work involves plasma cutting, welding and grinding various pieces of painted scrap metals.

The sculptures are hand cut from mostly car and truck hoods The finish of the vehicle dictates the color of the horse. The metals have scapes and dings significant to their past lives. The character of each horse continues to evolve over time, especially the outdoor works as parts of the piece continue to rust and fade.

I am a life learner of the horse. I attend many horse events from classical dressage to reined cowhorse. I also host a few clinics. These new experiences continue to influence my work.
