I started using flickr so that I could improve my photography skills for my jewelry, but since my daughter was born, it has slowly become my blog about her, and now includes her brother! I still occasionally make jewelry, and you might see it here and there, among many photos of my family. I am slowly building up a side business as well, see www.kristenmintz.com for more.

I grew up in New Jersey, where my family still lives. I now live in California, and I miss Jersey, hence the screen name.
