My new buddy icon, a very old picture taken by a local well-known photographer.

I am a self-taught photographer, learning as I go along. Over 33,000 views! I know many folks have hundreds of thousands of views but this is way more than I ever expected to get on my photostream. I appreciate the comments that tell me what makes the photo work as it lets me know I am growing as a photographer. I am humbled by the sheer number of excellent photographers on this site. Thanks to all who drop by and view as well as comment. And please don't use my photographs outside of flickr without my permission.
