I work in the advertising world that can be pretty crazy at times. Deadlines, eccentric creatives and clients that make my bang my head on the desk everyday.

Cooking, eating and discovering new foods takes all the stress away. It brings me to a different world. Relaxes me. It makes me feel peaceful and happy. It is theraputic and it really doesn’t matter if mistakes are made in the kitchen. Mistakes are meant to be made and learned. I guess it is just like anything in the world. And yes, most of my friends are forgiving ;)

This blog is the next step of my journey with food. It is more than just recipes and places that I have eaten. It is also about learning about cultures through food. The journey will represent my heart & soul. It brings the Penny out of Penny. I feel so fortunate that I am able to live to eat and not eat to live. And I have the lifetime to learn and to give back.
