Jeon Ji-hyun is a Korean actress, model and singer. She is gaining more fame worldwide due to her roles in extremely popular Korean films in recent times. Starting her career of as a model, Jeon later took up acting as well. Making her film debut "White Valentine" in 1999, she later gained her fame from the movies she later starred in, especially from the movie "Il Mare", owning to its handsomely shot scenes at Kanghwa Island.

She studied at Don-guk University and made her debut as a model for École (korean fashion magazine), and since then has modeled clothing lines, mobile phones, food products, and cosmetics. Some of her more popular product endorsements include Samsung, Giordano, and Laneige. Her dancing grooves in many of the commercials caught the hearts of many men. She was light heartedly voted as having the "Best Behind in Asia", polling 41% of the total votes, beating Lee Hyori who polled 30%.

The romance/comedy movie "Windstruck", which was filmed in 2004 with Jang Hyuk, reunited her with the young director, Kwak Jae-young again. Kwak also directed "My Sassy Girl" (starring Jeon Ji-Hyun & Cha Tae-hyun), which was based on Kim Ho-sik's successful Internet-serial "Yupki Girl}". The film became the second-highest grossing film for 2001 and and had earned a place in the record books as the highest grossing Korean comedy in the country's box office history.

Jeon's next movie role is between a love triangle in "Daisy", starring Jung Woo-sung and Lee Sung-jae. Hong Kong director Andrew Lau is behind this project along with Kwak Jae-young who wrote the screenplay. Fans of JJH are already expecting "Daisy" will be her next huge hit!
