On my Flickr account you will find some of my images, mostly landscapes and similar stuff.

On some of the pictures you will find links to other pictures that are related in time and/or space.

I am a relative newcomer to the world of photography, at least to the kind of photography I enjoy now. Until I got my first DSLR, the Canon EOS 350D, in September 2005, I only did snapshots of family, leisure activities and trips, but the new camera triggered an interest in taking photos just for the sake of the photo itself.

I enjoy nature images, and especially like low-light photography. I often go hunting for special light conditions, and dawn and dusk are my favorite times of the day.
I take a special interest in different kinds of photo-processing software tools and spend a lot of time processing my photos.
I periodically take a lot of photos, but I process my photos slowly and only a few make it to a stage where I find them fit for public display.

Photography is not my only interest (even if it is an important one at the moment) and has to compete with other interesting activites as well as with my normal every day life with family and work.

I do not intend to keep posting a steady stream of images to Flickr. I do not have the available time or images to do that. For long periods of time I may be absent from Flickr.

I enjoy exploring the Flickr photostream with all its interesting and varied content. For the most part I will stay "silent", a "lurker", you will not often find me commenting on other peoples photos, even if I enjoy them.
