I'm a Southern girl with a taste for travel and adventure. I was born in North Carolina, grew up in Georgia, made my way back to North Carolina after a couple years in Kentucky and Tennessee and now I'm back in Georgia.

In 2005, I moved cross country to Monterey California which is wonderful! Then I spent a year in Los Angeles just off of Melrose. I think everyone should live a year within the city limits of Los Angeles just to appreciate the rest of America.

You can see some of my California photography at the end of my photostream (last 5 pages) and I may go back and drag out some oldies from the archives. There's also a section in the middle of the stream of the photos I took on my lonely drive back across the country for 5 days... me and the cat. :)



One of my goals as a photographer is to capture life as I see it and share it with others. I like to find beauty in the mundane. I like to try to look at things in a different perspective.

I have spent well over a decade in my career of marketing, which included graphic and web design. I am now trying to make a change into a career involving my newly realized passion for photography. I'm also working on publishing books which combines my years of marketing experience (some with a book distributor), my design skills, and my love of photography. I use a Nikon D40 and a Kodak V603. I love shooting nature, architecture, and landscapes, but have recently been asked to do quite a few portraits and some photo journalism.
