I'm a freelance writer and designer. My printed work lately has appeared in The Seattle Times, Macworld Magazine, HOW Magazine, and ID Magazine. The closest thing I have to a real job is Managing Editor of TidBITS.

I've also authored or edited a number of books about photography, Web design, and video editing. My latest titles cover Photoshop Elements (for Mac OS X and Windows), Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, the Canon PowerShot G10 and G11 cameras, the iPhone and iMovie '09 & iDVD. (It's been a busy year!)

    

    

Born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho, I now live in Seattle.

I've taken advantage of the relationship between Flickr and ImageKind, which means some of my photos are available for sale as prints or framed at my ImageKind gallery. The print quality is excellent and their prices seem reasonable.
