"Our childhood homes shared a back alley where there were many BMX races down to Briggsmore Avenue. He on Brandon Ave, myself on Kingfield Drive.
I've been a fan of his artwork for 20 years. He never turns out a bad piece. I have one of his personal rejects on my wall and get a lot of interested comments regarding it. If art doesn't make people think and question than what is the point? Jeff has this notion firmly established in his work.

"I don't know Jeff Heermann. He didn't solicit a testimonial from me. I only know something about him through the artwork he posts. Which is better than good in subject and execution. I also think he deserves a wide audience. Maybe he has one already. I don't know. Maybe he gets fan letters and commissions galore already. I don't know. If he does, he deserves them. If he doesn't he should.
I like the single paneled stuff he draws, but I'd like to see a complete comic story. He may or may not be inclined to do that. After all, he hasn't talked to me about it because we don't know each other.
The vintage paperback covers he posts are also stunning. Check out this guy's stuff. It's really that good."17th September, 2006
