JEF AÉROSOL belongs to the first French street art generation of the early 80s (with the likes of Epsylon Point, Speedy Graphito, Mesnager, Miss Tic, Blek, etc…). For twenty-five years now he’s hit the walls of numerous cities (Paris, Lille, Chicago, London, Venice…) and exhibited his works in lots of personal and group shows. He gave the title and made the cover of the first book ever published about stencil art Vite Fait, Bien Fait (Alternatives 1986). A musician, Jef has played and recorded with several bands (Windcatchers, Open Road, Distant Shores…). He’s also at the origin of Dites33, a collective tribute to 33 rpm album covers. He has released a book : VIP Very Important Pochoirs (Editions Alternatives, Paris, France, 2007) that can easily be purchased in french and Belgian bookshops and can also be ordered on the web (amazon, etc...)...

"Jef, when i was in Paris this May, I found a wall of yours, took lots of pics and did not think much about it (I was really interested in MissTic). Then I started using the pics as wallpaper -- now I have the time to admire the subtlety. You put a lot of thought into that wall!

ps I don't know if I could find that wall again when I go back, sigh!"

    "Bonjour!

Cela me fait plaisir.
