Jeanine Birong approaches the everyday Long Beach scene the way a visitor would, with the fresh eye of the traveler. Though she has lived and worked in Long Beach since 1989, and has made passage through the same streets and by-ways over and over again, every day brings new observations.
As a scout and photographer for Long Beach Locations, Jeanine has also had the unusual experience of seeing Long Beach through the eyes of the film industry. She has been afforded access to times and places that many locals rarely see, like sunrise on the LB Airport tarmac or in the Port of Long Beach.
