I live in Orange County, Southern California but was born in Portsmouth, England. Spent some childhood years in British Columbia. I love naturescapes and in the past have usually waited for folks to "get outta the way." But lately I've been finding that people add tension and interest to an image. So more and more I like to include folks in the scene. I also love to go out on photo "safaris", local or more far flung. To quote Joe McNally, " If you want to take more interesting pictures, put yourself in more interesting places!"

These days many groups seem to be more "drop and run." so I prefer contacts. I like to keep them to a manageable number so I have the time to view and comment. Flickr is a wonderful place to get inspiration from seeing what others are shooting and it's great to get feedback. There are some pretty amazing photographers in this wide world of ours. And thanks to Flickr I feel as though I have friends the world over. I appreciate all who stop by my stream to look and take the time to comment!
