I'm a UK based photographer specialising in Dance photography.

I starting out in Digital SLR Photography & Photoshop in 2004, and have gradually been improving since. I certainly wouldn't claim to be an expert by any means, but love this hobby so much and am improving by the frame.
I was never into photography until I decided to buy a DSLR for a holiday to Japan. After reading some reviews on Amazon I went for the D50. I was hooked immediately. I recently upgraded to both the D3 & D300. I've also bought a mate's old D50 which I sent off to www.lifepixel.com in the USA for IR conversion.

I am also starting to get into 35mm film having recently purchased a Nikon FA and a Nikon FM2n (both off ebay at a steal price). I love the tones that film gives especially Fuji Neopan B&W.

I edit exclusively on Mac with Lightroom 2 & Photoshop CS4. Water-marking is by iWatermark.


2010 will see a significant increase in shoots with dancers, both in and out of the studio. I'm investing in a full lighting setup around Christmas and will be concentrating on high speed dance and fashion photography, examples of which can be seen on my stream. Most of my work in this area will be on my website rather than here.

I'm also getting into film and shoot a Nikon FA manual film body mostly with either Kodak Tri-X400 (B&W) or Fuji Reala 100 (colour)
