JDM Photography's photostream  

I live in Thornton, CO with my wife and dog. I work in the Biotechnology industry by day, and take my camera with me on all my excursions outside of work. I love taking pictures. They're so much fun and relaxing. They also allow me to get in touch with my artistic side.

I have been shooting seriously for about a year now. Coincidentally, it has been a year since I joined flickr. I have learned much more about photography in this past year than I would have ever thought possible. I often look back at all the snapshot like photos at the beginning of my photostream. In order to get where you want to go, you have to remember your roots. I use the pictures at the beginning to remind myself how far I have come, and how much further I have to go to reach my goals. Not only in photography, but in life as well.
