There are few rules that I consider to be important in arriving at an image..a photographer is an artist that uses a camera as a creative tool. Modern software is a darkroom.
I make no apologies for using it however I choose and to what extent.
Purity with reference to developing and printing one photographs is subjective. To some it means doing as little as possible to the original exposure. To me it means pushing it as far as I choose to remain faithful to my interpretation........
Modern cameras process color, brightness, noise, and contrast in the within the camera itself....I only choose to edit the image further.....
