Photography for me has been a growing passion since January 2007. To be able to capture beautiful moments in life and share them is very special. I like to take pictures of things I find beautiful; my cats, wildlife, birds, nature, etc. My photos are environmental documentary with only basic cropping and colour/contrast/sharpness adjustments, etc. Maybe someday I'll learn more about photoshop but for now that's the extent of my editing skills! My goal with photography is to try to record the natural beauty that is all around us and share it with others. I am very lucky to live in British Columbia, Canada which has a never-ending supply of beautiful, varied subject matter!

Flickr is an amazing place. I have met many wonderful people from all other world and I'm privileged to be able to see their amazing photography. I gain a great deal of inspiration and education from the photos I see and I’m grateful to have access to the work of so many fabulous photographers. I’m also very lucky to have made a number of good friends here who all mean a great deal to me!

"Jeannie takes great photos of pretty much anything she points the camera at. She's particularly adept at cat photos, which may seem a little passé, but is actually quite an art, in and of itself.

She also happens to be a good person whom I've enjoyed talking to via FlickrMail quite often. Always a good ear and a sounding board, I enjoy having made a friend of her through our mutual fascination with the photogenic quality cats possess.
