I am 34, married with 2 wonderful kids. I am a registered nurse in the ICU at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury CT. Hobbies? well...photography of course, golf, the New York Yankees, the New York Football Giants and I also like exploring different wines.

As far as my equipment goes; I shoot with a Pentax K100D Super. I have two Sigma lenses, one 50mm and I also have a zoom ____. For my strobes, I bought two Nikon SB-25's on eBay, I fire them wirelessly with some eBay triggers. I just recently bought a Lumipro light stand and a Wescott 43" double fold white/satin umbrella and I love IT!I use a Quantaray Tripod which broke about 1 week after I bought it.

I do like my camera, but after some serious playing with it, I wish I had upgraded. It is definitely a good learning camera, but I think I am ready for a better camera/lens combo. I am thinking of going Nikon when I can afford it.

I really like shooting nature shots, but really wish I had a better eye for architectural shots. I am going to make that my next learning mission, as I feel the lines and curves that can be achieved with city and building shots are fabulous.

I am also really trying to learn my off-camera lighting shots better. I love the addition of my umbrella to my arsenal, but definitely have a lot of learning to do.
