Most of my photos will relate to trains and railroads, as this has been my primary life-long hobby. Otherwise, I enjoy landscape, farming, sunset, and wildlife photography. Most of my favorite railroads are Midwest grangers (Milwaukee Road, C&NW, Illinois Central, the Burlington, etc.), which regrettably are now either gone or part of other super-size railroads. In recent months, I have tried to photograph the Iowa, Chicago, & Eastern railroad as much as possible, as I enjoy their scenic lines, older motive power, and carload freight trains. I mainly use a Pentax K100 Super D with a variety of lenses. The photos you see, other than occasional minor cropping or color correction, are just how I took them--no photo doctoring. Also, I like to enjoy photography in every weather condition, so you'll see some variety, even if not in direct sunlight!!
