i stare at my monitor
far too often

yearn to escape these walls
shed my clothes
and dip into the hot pool of life

i like all things
that are
round
smooth
and move

and so I shake my ass
with a hoop

ride my bike up
and over
mountains

dance 'til dawn
laughing and smiling
attempting to sweat and work away
the pessimism and darkness inside

i crave
the sweetness of dark chocolate
the ooey gooey of fine cheese
the warmth of a hug
the comfort of friends

i am kinetic and potential energy
i am searching
i am learning
i will evolve
