My name is Jason and I am currently a Liberal Arts Major at Borough of Manhattan Community College. My hobby is Photography and I am the Vice President for my school's Photography club.

As a young child I have always been interested in pictures and the emotion they convey to the viewer, but I never knew that photography would end up being my favorite past-time.

I bought my first dSLR on May 15, 2008, a Nikon D60 that came with two kit lenses- the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 and 55-200mm f/4-5.6 VR II. However, being the newbie that I was, I left my camera lying around in risky territory and had both lenses stepped on. Eventually I bought a 50mm 1.8 prime lens, that I still use today for every photograph I take, and I have to manually focus and move around to get the shot I am looking for.

I must say: there is nothing that makes me happier than realizing wonderful results come from actual work that I've had to put into that and every other shot I take.

Lightroom 2
Photoshop CS4
Capture One 4 (every once in a while)
