I am a husband and father, a writer and photographer, a minstrel and poet. I like to make people laugh, at me or with me, it doesn't matter. I love natural beauty and patterns and shapes and textures and all the ugly-beautiful things that most people never notice.

A Little More Info
I live in southeast Tennessee with my wife and daughter.

I like reading books and sweet iced tea and listening to music and watching sci-fi and taking pictures and laughing out loud and walking in the woods and poetry and sleeping in and talking over dinner and going for drives in the country.

I dislike romantic comedies and fundamentalism and pop music and busy work and reality television and spilling things and retail shopping and direct sunlight and fashionableness and pragmatism and clear-cutting and the use of the word “like” as an interjection.

I'm originally from central Florida, but now I live in Cleveland, TN, home to Duracell Batteries, M&M Mars, Maytag Appliances, CatNapper Furniture, and a host of smaller companies. We used to be quite the industrial town, especially back in the "Old Copper Road" days (we were the end of the road). So, needless to say, there are a lot of old buildings that are falling apart around here.

I shoot with a Nikon D300 and a variety of Nikkon/Nikkor lenses as well as a Lensbaby 2.0 from time to time.
